I made some researched guys on what are the top tech things people used this year and the newest version and updates and here are my list:

INSTAGRAM

We know 2012 Instagram started but this year 2013 it made its major blast. Instagram made its major improvements to the mobile photo sharing but is now also a video sharing and in a way a messaging app. Its November launch of Instagram Direct which allows you to share photos and have they disappear a few seconds later cool isn't it?

TWITTER

Everybody loves twitter it's the best way to connect, express and discover what's happening. This year was a big year for the microblogging social network and this is second from Facebook.

SHORT VIDEOS

"SELFIE" is the word of the year as we all know and even world leaders do it. Photos were not the big thing this year but also short videos. It all began when Twitter launched a separate platform for posting short videos. Twitter launched Vine which limits video post to 6 seconds.

YOUTUBE

Since were talking video's YOUTUBE still wins and the master of them all. Psy wins for the most popular video sharing his Gangnam style last year ended with a historic 1 billion views.

FACEBOOK

Facebook still dominates all. As we all know more and more users access the service not only in their computers and laptops but also on their mobile phones. One great innovation of Facebook Home was Chat Heads. For Android users it means avatars from your friends pop out when your friends send you a chat message.

SMARTPHONES

2013 was a year of amazing smartphone growth. Samsung is the undisputed leader over apple, Lenovo and LG.
According to my research Android tops them all second is iOS with Microsoft edging Blackberry out for third.

GAMING

Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s X-Box got major updates this year. But the biggest news in terms of console gaming this year was the Oculus Rift, virtual reality goggles that actually work. The head-mounted display takes gamers into a Stereoscopic 3D environment with a wider field of view taking immersive gaming to a whole new level.

GADGETS

While smartphones and phablets are the top choices for techy people out there. We also have wearable’s continue to make small steps. Fitness bands also became popular. Devices like the FitBit Flex, Jawbone up 24, and Nike Fuel Band SE track physical activity and some of them sleep patterns.

We also saw smart watches from Samsung and Sony and Kick Starter project Pebble but Apple’s iWatch has yet to be seen.

Miss Philippines Bea Santigao is the new Miss International. A great way to end the year 2013. There is hope indeed!

This 23 year old amazed the judges during the question and answer portion wherein the 5 finalist were asked what they will do if they win the title. It is a very simple and common question in a Beauty Contest but Miss Philippines said: “The whole world saw how my country suffered. One by one, other countries helped. You have opened my heart and eyes on what we can do to help each other. I will work to sustain the spirit of sympathy and spirit of hope. As long as we work together, there is hope." and this answer struck the judges and wild cheers from the audience. Those words from Bea Santiago are the answers to every problems that every country is facing! We all have hope if we help each other!

Her win makes us proud as Filipino's and this was indeed a triumphant year for Filipina Beauty Queens since 3 months ago Mutya Johanna Datul won Miss Suprational also Megan Young won the country’s first Miss World title and a little over a month after Ariella Arida placed third runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant.

I haven't eaten my breakfast so I will have my late breakfast and early lunch. So lazy to cook so went out and grab my brunch to the nearest "Sinangag Station" it's a mini restaurant serving breakfast meals.

I'm so excited for my 2nd redemption that I forgot to take my breakfast and my tummy is gargling and mumbling for food. I ordered one of my favorites "Sisigsilog".

Sizling Sisig is a Filipino dish made from parts of pig’s head and liver, usually seasoned with calamansi and chili peppers served together with sunny side up egg and fried garlic rice so delicious and yummy.

I am full now burping for the yumminess of my BRUNCH.

The Philippines is known for having the world’s longest Christmas season.  The 4 months that ends with "ber" are considered Christmas months. Stores and houses are already busy decorating for Christmas and playing carols on the first day of September and extends until the Feast of 3 Kings which falls on the first week of January. Let me show you how Filipino's celebrated  our own version of Christmas.

PAROL(Christmas Lantern) most commonly in the shape of a star. Almost every family either makes their own version or  buys one to hang by the window or door. Others construct giant versions of parols. The Filipino home will not be found without a parol (lantern) during the Christmas season.

Belen(a creche or nativity scene) can be seen in homes, churches, schools and even office buildings. The ones on office buildings can be extravagant, using different materials for the figures and using Christmas lights, parols, and painted background scenery.

Simbang Gabi(a series of nine masses) mostly Catholics,Filipino's begin a novena on December 16th.  Filipinos go to church at four o’clock in the morning and afterward have breakfast together. A traditional drink during this season is a warm ginger tea called salabat and a traditional treat is a flat but thick yellow rice cake called bibingka  not just at home but on almost every corner. On every block, especially the ones close to churches, there are food stands or stalls of these Pinoy Christmas goodies. And in the country side, a band might even play Christmas carols; medleys to awaken people and lure them to attend the service. On Christmas Eve, the final Christmas mass is celebrated with much ceremony, color and lights.
Monito Monita or Kris Kringle. The  Filipino version of Secret SantaStudents in their classes and office workers all hold gift exchanges during the Christmas season. Children receive fresh bills of money called aginaldo, usually when they visit their godparents and elderly relatives on Christmas morning.

"Noche Buena"(Good Night)  the grand family dinner after the midnight mass. This is a dinner for family to gather and eat together as they rejoice and feast on the Nativity of the birth of Christ.Right away followed by Noche Buena for families to share the best line of Filipino cuisine, along with the traditional "Queso de Bola" (Edam cheese shaped into a ball) and "Hamon" (ham) on every table.

Some have "Lechon" (roast pork), some don't.

Christmas morning is the time for visiting relatives. Filipinos wear new if not their best clothes. Children do mano, which is kissing or bringing to their forehead the hand of an elderly person. This is when they receive their pamasko, certainly aguinaldo from godfathers and godmothers. Christmas lunch and Christmas dinner are with family.

Although it doesn't snow in the Philippines, white Christmas is achieved when families get together. All members are presented with gifts or no gifts and they share dinner and celebrate the nativity.

When I visited US 2 years ago I was really amazed with there Thanksgiving celebration since it's really a time off for them and they really prepared for this celebration like pot roast turkey is always present, pumpkin pies, mashed potatoes and gravy and a variety of thanksgiving food. But,what really amazed me is what they call "Black Friday".

I keep asking myself why is it called "Black" it's kind of creepy or scary for me. So it's for me to find out. Well, Black Friday in US is the biggest shopping day of the year I have a seen a lot of people waking up so early go to the stores of their choice and fall in line together with a huge crowd as early as 4 AM. Crazy right? but it's true because all of the prizes really goes down it's the biggest sale ever it's really the time to shop hoping to save on their Christmas shopping.

Now I know why is it called "Black" and there are a lot of reasons on it maybe because all of the prices goes down,it's the biggest sale of the year. It is called "Black" because a lot of shoppers will be emptying their pockets. The bad side is a lot of shoppers has led to chaotic scenes and outbreak of violence. Stampedes and shootings will always plagued the day and there is even a group of activist campaigning for a "Buy Nothing Day" to allow shop workers to spend more time with their families.

Whatever it is "Black Friday" you just have to be out in the midst of all of it. So shop til you drop because it's really exciting and just be careful for stampedes. Happy Shopping!
I don't believe in ghost. How about you do you believe in them?

I was raised with a strong and firm faith in God. My parents are very religious even them do not believe in such things they will just say it's a product of your imagination.

But, I have this bad experience once when me and my daughter move into a new place since it's nearer to my workplace. It was an abandoned old house for almost 10 years that we rented and the owners parents died and she needs to go back abroad because she migrated there. At first I was so happy since I rented the place so cheap and it's within the budget. The first 3 days was good we cleaned the house buy some things for decorations. Then I started working graveyard living my 8 month daughter to her nanny. Then unusual things happen when I got home I was informed by my nanny that she couldn't sleep since my daughter keeps on crying and there I found out a lot of bruises on my daughters body and I have her checked up on her doctor and everything is alright. So same routine need to work but every time I got home a lot of things happen like scratches on my daughters tummy and rashes on her legs it was a hell of a week for me then and I keep going back to my daughter's doctor and even them couldn't give me an answer. My nanny is already scared and told me that something bothering her every night that it's not only us living in that house as if someone is watching us and I don't believe her until one night since I'm off at work there I experienced the most terrifying night of my life. I woke up because my daughter keeps on crying I'm about to stand up to check her but what I saw is a black lady standing and staring on my daughter's crib couldn't see her face because her hair is long and somewhat it's silhouette. I wanted to scream but I can't I wanted to stand up but there's somewhat a force that stopping me so what I did is throw my pillow and then she vanished. I was really confused and feel blank that night and I say to myself maybe It was just a bad dream never said to anyone maybe they will say I'm crazy. But, after that every night unusual things happen and it keeps on happening every 3 AM there is one instance that I woke up a little black boy playing on my daughter's toys and there is also a black guy will just passed by
while you're watching TV.

Even though I don't believe in them but now I can say they really exist the bad side is the ghost living in that house are black and evil. So I decided to move out since my daughter couldn't sleep at night and with the bruises and scratches maybe it's a sign that we need to get out and leave them in peace.
